4-22-14. Thomas Craig to H. Poincaré
Baltimore June 17 86
Franklin & Charles Sts.
Dear M. Poincaré,
Will you be kind enough to propose for me the name of Mr. John C. Fields as a member of the Société Mathématique? Mr. Fields is a Fellow in mathematics of the Johns Hopkins University and is in every way worthy of the honor which I should much like to have conferred on him. I am in great haste so cannot write more fully at present. I trust that I may soon hear of the election of my friend.
