7-2-73. H. Poincaré to Felix Klein, English translation

[Before 8 June 1895]

Dear Colleague,

I am very pleased to learn that you will not be leaving Göttingen, which means I can put my plan into action.

Unfortunately I can’t stay long in Göttingen, because in this season I have little free time, and would also like to go to Leipzig and Berlin.

I should be arriving in Göttingen Monday morning from Hildesheim, and leaving Tuesday evening.

I thank you very much for your offer of hospitality, but I can not accept, as I would be afraid of disturbing you.

See you soon, my dear Colleague,

sincerely yours,

Poincaré
