J’ai retenu des chambres à l’hôtel de France à Berlin; j’y serai avec ma fille aînée.22endnote: 2 Poincaré responds here to Mittag-Leffler’s query of 4 August (§ 1-1-255). Poincaré attended the centennial commemoration of the founding of the University of Berlin with his daughter Jeanne Poincaré. The official ceremonies were held from 10 to 13 October. Poincaré participated as a representative of the Paris Academy of Sciences, and delivered an address in this rôle (Poincaré, 1910). He was in demand as a speaker, and delivered three scientific talks, on the 12th, 13th, and 14th of October. These talks were all published; see Poincaré (1911b, c, a), respectively.
