63, rue Claude Bernard

Monsieur,

See Poincaré to Tournachon, 9 Jan. 1908 (§ 6-1-1778). An annotation of Poincaré’s letter (in an unknown hand) suggests that a response was made that same day.

Je vous demande pardon d’insister, mais nous voudrions paraître le 1r{}^{\text{r}} février.33endnote: 3 Apparently, no response was obtained, prompting Poincaré to ask Jules Janssen’s daughter Antoinette Janssen to intervene with Nadar; see Poincaré to Antoinette Tournachon, ca. mid-January, 1908 (§ 6-1-1777). The biographical notice was published without a photo in the February issue of the Bulletin (Bigourdan, 1908).
